5-5-5: Week 2
Last week we talked about a body challenge, this was mine-
My goal for the purpose of the challenge is to eat a more balanced diet and drink more water. Right now I am going to focus on diet and then I will exercise when I can. Baby steps, right?
I did pretty good, if I can toot my own horn... I focused on eating more balanced, trying to get fruits or veggies at each meal and drinking more water, too. I start Weight Watchers again and this week I lost 2.8 pounds!
On to week 2: Time Management. yikes. Courtney has some great tips and guidance for time management. I followed Courtney's suggestion and made a to-do list:

On to week 2: Time Management. yikes. Courtney has some great tips and guidance for time management. I followed Courtney's suggestion and made a to-do list:
- Bible study homework
- Daily quiet time
- Catch up on laundry
- Sweep kitchen daily and mop it once
- Homework (anthropology)
- Plant seeds with boys
- Bathrooms
- Living room window
- Clean out fridge
- Exercise 60 minutes total
- Keep up on the dishes
- Read to boys each day
- Shave legs (yes, I really have to put this on a list)
- Make muffins
- Order vitamins
- Dust
- Thank you notes for Joshua's birthday
I think that is it. For now. I wrote out the list and am going to stick it on the fridge so I can see it all day, every day.

5-5-5: Week 1
Courtney at Women Living Well has a great 5 week challenge going on. This is {as always} perfect timing for me. Here is this week's challenge:
Week 1 Challenge:
Name 1 healthy habit that you would like to work on establishing in your life over the next 5 weeks. It could be cutting back on junk food, fast food, or soda pop. It could be to exercise more, drink more water, or get more sleep. Name it in the comments section…often times we are more apt to follow through on commitments when we have told someone else!
This is very timely for me because I signed up {again} for Weight Watchers online last night. I lost about 20 pounds with WW last year (see my weight loss journey) and have managed to keep that off but I still have about 30 pounds to go to reach my goal. My goal for the purpose of the challenge is to eat a more balanced diet and drink more water. Right now I am going to focus on diet and then I will exercise when I can. Baby steps, right? Anyone else joining in Courtney's challenge?

50 in 350
I am listing out some goals that I want to accomplish in the next year. I will be adding a page to my blog so I can keep track and you can follow my progress. I am working on 50 goals to complete in the next 350 days. Some are projects I'd like to do or are fitness related, some are to help build my faith and knowledge of the Word. But they are all things I want to do or change in my life and in my family. It is really hard to come up with 50 things! When I am done with my list there will be a new tab up above for the whole world to see [yikes!] and you all better keep me accountable!
What goals do you have? Are you a goal-setter or do you just fly by the seat of your pants? It is ok if you don't have 50 but I'd love to see your goals! Post them, share them!

Goal for the Week 5/16
I have started C25K! I am training for a half marathon in January, I am a novice runner (more like retired, I ran in high school) so I wanted to give myself plenty of time to train. C25K is Couch to 5k, it prepares you for a 5k when you prefer to be on the couch :). I did Week 1 Day 1 on Saturday, I felt pretty good while I was doing it but yesterday I was pretty sore. My goal is to complete Week1, Days 2 and 3 this week.
I did pretty good keeping up on my cleaning schedule last week, other than mopping which is my nemesis! I have assigned that to be hubs' chore, otherwise it won't get done very often. I did mop the bathrooms and the kitchen once. We have white tile in our kitchen and it is hard to keep clean. Don't ever get white tile in your kitchen! Two more years and we'll move and then we'll have some other horrible kitchen floor! la de da, I guess.

Goal For The Week 5/9
My goal this week is to stick with my cleaning routine {and continue with 31 Days to Clean}. I got my new cleaning routine from List Plan It and it breaks down the house over a whole month.

Last week's Challenges were tough. Didn't do too hot, not an epic fail but may have taken too much on last week. I did really well with 31 Days to Clean! One step at a time right!!
What is your goal this week? Leave a comment and let us know what you're up to!

Goal For The Week 5/2
My goal this week {SERIOUSLY} is to stay committed to all the challenges I'm doing right now and finish my Bible study homework for Thursday!

Last week my goal was to not spend any money online and I did it! I needed to order glasses and did that last night but this was something we had pre-planned and saved for.

Goal For The Week 4/25
This is a little thing that I have done in the past. Something I want to work on each week in any area of life. Link up and share if you have a goal this week.
My goal for this week is to not spend any money online! I am saving for a new computer! And saving money has always been really hard for me. I get an allowance each payday (this seriously is my choice!) from hubs and I also sold my really nice camera to my girlfriend so I almost have enough saved up. I just need to stick with saving my money! Pray for me!
