Quickie!

Quickie makeover that is! We've had these lamps for a long time and they needed something to give them a little punch. I was at Michael's and they had bins of discount ribbon outside. I found this! for a buck!
These are the lamps that are in need of some sprucing up. Notice my wall colors, one called "Iced Chocolate" and the other "Glass of Wine".


Not much was needed for this project. I used one spool of the ribbon, two sticks of hot glue and my scissors. All I did was slowly move around the shade with a bead of hot glue, laying down the ribbon as I went.

Voila! I think I may look for some cool beads to add but for now I am really liking them!
