June Stamp Club!

At stamp club this month we learned some fun new techniques.

The "Love You A Latte" card is a mini card that we used a dot technique on, using the brush end of the marker making dots rather than coloring. The "Happy Birthday" uses ink with an aqua painter on watercolor paper.

This one was fun! First we cut the striped paper against the stripes and then re-mis-aligned and glued them down, then trimmed off the excess edges. We also tried out the water color crayons, using them to color the stamps and then spritzed them with water before applying the stamp to watercolor paper. Love the quote from Eleanor Roosevelt, as well. And the ink smeared a little bit but I imagine that is what it looked like when Eleanor first typed it out!
