I have a couple (well about 8-10) friends that have encouraged me to be a better woman and helped me become who I am today! Adrianne is one, and Emily is one :) Em, you were witness to my miracle and have helped me grow in my walk with the Lord, for that,I will always be greatful and feel we have a special bond! Adrianne always knows what to say to help you feel better! I dont think there is enough room to list all them, so there are just a few! Love my ladies!

I *AM* going to help encourage others by walking with the Lord EVERYDAY! It's time I step up to the plate and leave the negative side of me behind! Time to be positive and in that it will come natural to encourage and lead others to be more positive also!

Jana is a relative of mine and someone I've looked up to since I can remember. I'm still looking up to her!! Her faith is steadfast and her spirit is contagious! She encourages me to be a better person, completely!
In a negative world, I'm striving to always have something positive to say, or do, or share. Negativity is the most contagious disease there is out there, right??
My close friend Corrie is a huge encourager to me! She's always a fan of work I do, and the first to jump on board with my crazy ideas! She's been a faithful friend for about 25 years now, and always has positive things to say!
I love to write little notes and cards to friends and co-workers to encourage them. Everyone needs a smile!
My mother will always be the person that I look up to until the day the good Lord takes her. She is there helping me to pick up the pieces in the bad times along with the old fashion "everything will be alright, everything happens for a reason" which takes me back to my younger years where whatever mom said made all the pain go away. She has made it through more than most women have her age. She lost both of her parent before she was even 40 and my father left her after 14yrs of marriage and yet she succeeded at raising us two kids by herself and building her own successful business. All of that and staying strong in the faith that her father(baptist preacher) instilled in her. God really loves her. As for the christian side of my life I do have a conversation with God on a regular basis but not as frequently as i should. I have 2-3 resolutions this year and my number one would be to rebuild my relationship with God. Number two would be to cut back if not out swearing, after all I am a sailors wife, lol.
My friend Robin inspires me to be a better person. She is only 42, but in the past year has had 4 major strokes, a heart attack, open heart surgery, and a fall which caused a dislocated shoulder requiring surgery and more physical therapy. And everyday, she smiles, tries to be grateful for all the good she has in her life, tries to be a wonderful daughter, aunt, co-worker, and friend.
She is always thinking of others and is still someone whose shoulder is always there to cry on. I look at her and marvel at that and wish that I had half her character, and i am thankful for her every day. She truly makes me want to be a better person.(and she is my best craft buddy)
I try to reach out to others more. In the past I have been guilty of waiting for others to approach me, even when I knew they were struggling with something. I won't be like that anymore. Our time here is so short, and so precious.
THANKS FOR POSTING ALL THESE GIVEAWAYS!
i HAVE A FRIEND WHO ENCOURAGES ME TO BE A BETTER WOMAN WHO TURNS TO GOD IN EVERYTHING, SHE JUST WENT THROUGH A M/C AT 21 WEEKS AND SHE IS SO STRONG.
Gorgeous cards! My daughter's and kids in general inspire me to be a better person. I know everything that I do that they are watching and that it affects them and how they will be when they are adults.
I try to uplift others by just leading a good life and trying to do what is right. I also volunteer at a women's center and try to give these women who in the midst of turmoil hope.
I would have to be my best friend Tammy, even though we live so far apart but we just know when to call each other to make each laugh. She is the god mother of my little boy and I couldn't have picked anyone better. She encourages me to be a better person just by being there for me and me being there for her. I couldn't wish for a better friend.
I love to encourage people by just being there for them. I try to just be available whenever someone reaches out and to share the love of God through word, writing, speaking, singing or helping to meet a physical need. And, of course, sending a card doesn't hurt, either :-)
love sending out cards that are handmade cause it means a lot to a person knowing that if it wasnt you then it was someone took time to make a special card to send to them.
I have a couple. My Godmother and Godfather have done so much in shaping the woman I am. My Godmother always trying to teach me how to inspire and encourage other through softness, warmth and compassion - my Godfather teaching me how to win over the hearts of tough critics (men) and to encourage them to remain human, even through war and injury. They both amaze me. Second - all the wounded warrior wives I know, they truly emanate complete dedication and that inspires me to be more dedicated to everyone I meet.
I believe in always smiling, even when I do not feel like it - as just a simple smile can brighten someone's day...and who knows? That person may have needed just a kind look from a stranger to change their lives. I try to dedicate myself to the needs of my Military Sisters, offering my home to them whenever they are in a time of turbulence or trouble so that they may have a peaceful haven to rest in - even if it is only for coffee/tea. I always try to use softness when dealing with anyone, it is a trait I find highly important in a world of harsh darkness.
