In my life this week… rain, rain and more rain. love summer in Mexico!
In our homeschool this week… curriculum is arriving! slowly but surely our huge boxes of books and materials are coming and I am having a load of fun!

I am inspired by… all these bloggers that have done it all before me. I am so thankful for the community that has welcomed me, answered all my questions and given me great encouragement!
Places we’re going and people we’re seeing… in three weeks we will be in Alaska!
My favorite thing this week was… Joshua opening his Math-U-See and being completely and utterly stoked! he has done a lesson each day with excitement in his eyes. whew, I was a little worried.
What’s working/not working for us… taking our time, doing what the boys ask to do is working right now. power outages-not working for us!
Questions/thoughts I have… Looking forward to a great adventure, then coming back and starting another adventure... homeschooling that is!
Things I’m working on… cutting out materials for school, printing printables, sorting and filing.
I’m reading… The Ministry of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson, Lord, Teach Me To Pray in 28 Days by Kay Arthur and Am I Messing Up My Kids? by Lysa TerKeurst. I have a long list!
I’m cooking… probably frozen pizza tonight. the power has been on and off all day so the crock pot didn't get started.
I’m grateful for… my amazing husband-he really is! (and my new printer!)
I’m praying for… safe travels for hubs, sanity for me while he is gone, patience and some family issues.

I can't wait to order and have things arrive! I'm considering Math U See. My DD doesn't seem to grasp concepts well. Currently we are in Horizons 3 book 2.
