I went to the store and purchased a candle. Apparently candles are not that popular in Mexico City, unless you want a picture of a saint on it. But I finally found one in the Christmas items!
Here it is... Boring.
You know I couldn't just leave it that way! Here is the final product (super duper easy tutorial below)!

| Use tissue paper! Yep, tissue paper. Trim it to the height and circumference of your candle. I try not to overlap it at the seam, if anything I'd rather have an opening. You won't really see it. You can try using other colors of tissue paper, as well. |

| You can stamp as little or as much as you like. A big background stamp would also be great for this. |

| Lay your candle down lay the tissue paper on the candle. |

| With a heat gun or hot blow dryer, start in the middle of your tissue paper and heat it. You will be able to see the wax liquefy Don't leave it too long or your paper can burn and the wax can make a mess. Just long enough for the wax to get soft and adhere to the paper. Continue from the center and go back to the seam. I go around the top of the paper and bottom to make sure they are smooth against the wax, use the heat gun. |

This morning I went to light my candle and cannot believe it, but I do not have anything to light it with! Gonna try the gas stove. WOW! It is Monday!

Tissue paper, or wax paper? The picture makes it look like wax paper. Very cute idea!

It is some waxy tissue paper that I had. It is thicker than regular tissue paper. It made it look a little textured after I used the heat gun. Regular tissue paper will melt right into the wax. I would prefer to use regular thin tissue paper. If you do that, put a piece of scrap paper under your tissue paper to avoid a big mess.
